African Dancing
Come experience the power and community of African Dance in Santa Fe. Using the focus and choreographic skills from her classical dance education, Elise Gent has for 22 years built an extraordinary following of dancers of all ages. It is not uncommon on Saturdays at 11am to find 70 dancers and a dozen musicians filling the Railyard Performance Center with energy, sound and motion. Let Elise encourage you to learn dances from West Africa, the Congo and Haiti in this dynamic and fun intensive.
