Outdoor baking and black pottery

Ancient Storyteller Learning Center is a unique Native-owned organization that is committed to educating visitors about the history, language, culture and homeland of the Eight Northern Pueblos in Northern New Mexico. Their tours and cultural activities allow visitors to experience a truly educational and realistic view of Pueblo people as a contemporary, indigenous community.

Visit a traditional home and experience outdoor baking in an horno (oven). Afterward, enjoy a taste of your baked goods! Then, meet a skilled, Native American potter and participate in a hands-on black pottery demonstration.
