Native Arts and Cooking Workshop, Panel discussion and docent-led tours
1:30-2:30-Welcome by President Martin and student leadership. Symposium at the LTC Auditorium-Tribal Perspectives of the South West Indian Market. This panel will be moderated by Stephen Wall, Department Chair for Indigenous Liberal Studies and will feature a panel of artists: students, faculty, Alum and others to provide their unique perspectives of their Indian Market experiences. 2:45-3:20-Visit to the Primitive Edge Gallery on campus to view recent works by IAIA students. This tour will be moderated by Hayes Locklear, Gallery Manager.
3:30-4:30-Native Foods of the South-West Pueblos & Tour of IAIA Campus. Native foods & cuisine from Zuni Pueblo to the Middle Rio Grande villages will be featured for all guests along with a tour of the campus.
