Handbuilt clay vessels
Micacious clay is prized for the sparkling pottery it creates and has a long history of use by New Mexico's Pueblo artists. La Morena ArtWorks instructors will help you create a micacious vessel of your own during a workshop at the Santa Fe Convention Center. You will also be inspired by a 20 minute film showing one of the area's most distinguished potters, Maria Martinez, explaining the entire process.
