Digital Photography

The visual appeal of Santa Fe cannot be overstated. From evocative landscapes to weathered architecture to the living faces of its cultures; Santa Fe has moved inhabitants and visitors alike to capture the depth and breadth of this area's beauty. For photographers, the Santa Fe Photographic Workshops has extensive course offerings that have given the workshops an international reputation for excellence and experiential learning in the photographic arts.

The school will provide a hands-on digital photography workshop that begins with instruction at the Santa Fe Convention Center and then takes participants in small, volunteer-led groups on a picture-taking tour of the Plaza and downtown area. A Workshops staff member will be stationed on the Plaza to provide technical support and answer any questions for the entire afternoon activity. This workshop will be repeated (2-45 minute instructive lessons at 90 minute intervals) so people who participate in the panel discussions may also take part in the interactive experience.
