El Rancho De Las Golondrinas
We invite you to take a journey to the past at "The Ranch of the Swallows". Now a living history museum, the ranch dates from the early 1700s and was an important paraje or stopping point along the famous Camino Real, the Royal Road from Mexico City to Santa Fe. You will experience the life of another time in a beautiful rural farming valley while creating hands-on traditional New Mexico crafts with the help of authentically dressed villagers. Then enjoy traditional New Mexico Western BBQ (a vegetarian option will be available) and afterwards salsa and line-dance into the evening. This event is included in the price of the conference and includes two complimentary drink tickets. Cash Bar.
Special Note: Dress in comfortable casual or American western clothing with comfortable shoes or cowboy boots or flat shoes for walking around the grounds. Wear a light jacket.
